The interactions of natural biological systems with human activities of
the region entail impacts on biodiversity. This is why it is a priority to
perform an assessment on the effect of human activities on biological diversity
and good working order of the ecosystems. Species extinction and ecosystem
degradation are increasing; different Mexican species have been driven or
hunted to extinction and with the current trend, it is estimated that many
populations and species will disappear even before they are known. It is also a
priority to have a complete inventory of the genetic capital in our country
